Celebrating 25 Years of Making Connections for You

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since I first started my singles course!
Back then, I was a divorced woman who had just broken the dating code. I joyfully shouted, “I did it! I broke the code.” My very next thought – equally as joyful – was, “And I can teach other people how to do it!” With a male friend who was trained as a teacher, I constructed a 16-week course titled, Advanced Relationship Strategies – for singles who are serious about finding life partners. I marketed actively. Singles came. We created a network of course graduates for fun and networking. Singles met other singles in class, at our events, through friends and other activities. Singles started dating. They got engaged. They got married.By year five, I captured the love stories – including my own – of the first 10 of my students to get married. I paired those stories with 10 lessons from the course, and published my first book, “Take Heart! Stories of Encouragement for Singles.”
After 10 years, I morphed the course into weekend workshops and more recently into six 3-hour workshops. I’ve streamlined and updated the content which still covers the same four crucial areas: Dating. Relationships. Networking. Getting really clear about who you are looking for. I am now preparing my professional legacy by recording each of the workshops in the series — now called Dating Boot Camp — so they can be accessed online. The first online workshop is complete and ready to go public for Valentine’s Day. |
